"Great location, there is a car park underneath and you get discount if you pay at reception. Bed was very comfy and quiet. There was a bit of road noise as we had to sleep with the room open as the room was quite hot. Check in and out was easy and quick."

"The location of the hotel is good, close to city centre, railway station and The Barbican. Car parking is good and reasonable price. Reception is very welcoming and staff very helpful. Our double room seemed a little dated in furniture and underneath the desk were a lot of biscuit crumbs which then makes you think the room wasn’t cleaned properly. Reported to reception and they dealt with problem immediately. Bathroom also very dated and basic. Comfortable bed. Unfortunately the windows were of a poor quality and they rattled constantly through the night due to windy conditions. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the bar was very comfortable and welcoming. Overall disappointing but willing to stay again if standard of room could be improved."
