"Sue the person who greeted us at the reception desk was superb, friendly, helpful and went above and beyond in the services she provided. The rest of the staff were great as well and friendly! Our stay in the hotel room which had a living room area was very comfortable and the views of the ocean right at your door were awesome! I liked the quirky layout of the room, #19, and its amenities. This hotel is in a great location in St Ives to potter about. Highly recommended!"

"Clean, nicely decorated compact flat which had everything we needed. The garage is away from the property and the door is a little tricky to open. But good to have somewhere to park the car. About a 10 minute walk into the centre of St Ives which is beautiful. You can’t avoid the hills though so be prepared! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"It was our dream to visit St.Ives all the way from Japan and we decided to stay at this hotel which reached to our expectation. The quality and atmosphere of the room over looking the beach was impressive. The room and every corner of the hotel was taken care accurately and neatly with the a kind of pride and affection of the owner and staffs. The breakfast was not gorgeous like a modern 5 star hotel, but it was good enough to enjoy the touch of a fresh morning in England. We would love to come back again to reminisce the unforgettable experience we had this time."

"We had a great time .The room was lovely with everything we needed for our trip, tea coffee and biscuits replaced each day Bathroom was excellent and towels were replaced every day if needed Breakfast was amazing with a menu that catered for everyone. Host were a very nice and made us very welcome in their guest house The sea view from our room was beautiful."

"The house was spotlessly clean with the basics left for us to use e.g. toilet roll, tea, coffee, washing-up-liquid, liquid soap, dishcloth and t-towels. The host was very easy to contact and responded quickly. The kitchen was fully equipped. There was a lovely decking area outside and a sea view from 2 of the bedrooms. The location was perfect albeit up a hill. We had a great stay and we would definitely go back again."

"Room 4 was smaller than expected, it’s deluxe but there was nothing deluxe about it. We stayed for 2 nights and it was okay for the price we paid. Other guests leaving really early made loads of noise by slamming their door and the front doors. "
