Book a South Walls Cottage

Lovely quiet place by the sea with a great restauarant and cosy nautical themed bar. Very friendly staff :) Would love to stay here again next time!

The Murray Arms for a warm and welcoming Orkney experience. Friendly and engaging staff and excellent food, the local seafood should definitely tried.

I have toured around Scotland and this accommodation is by far the best I've stayed in. Very well appointed room , spotlessly clean and the host go way over and above . I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Liked Wayne’s welcome, his story and the coziness and cleanliness of the cabin.

Great stay - hotel restaurant was great. Staff were helpful. Clean room.

We highly recommend the Karrawa Guest House. It was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent every day. The host went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. Definitely the best we’ve stayed at.

We found the room to be very comfortable and en suite superb the dinning area was great and food top class not to mention the friendly staff so helpful really loved our stay would highly recommend it

Excellent service from friendly staff, comfy bed, good shower, good hot breakfasts, excellent bar, all round good place to stay. If older person, no lifts, walk up, & limited vehicle access to front of the building.

Great value breakfast and very helpful reception staff!

Great

5 stars are well deserved. Great stay, staff, location, very clean and tidy. Best views of the beach. Well equipped room .

Good location room good size - we got a breakfast bag because we had to catch ferry early - staff very helpful

Great place to stay. Helpful staff and great options to eat at the restaurant.

We got in just on darkness after a 7pm departure from Scrabster. The room was clean and compact but had everything we needed. The mattress on the bed was a little springy but all in all, comfortable. I'd stay here again.

Usual premier inn ...clean and everything U need ... Meals however let it down ...I had mixed grill for dinner steak was so tough couldn't eat it ..and breakfast was 'difficult' ... everything seemed to run out and took some time to be replenished... I'd certainly stay again ...just would eat there

The food is excellent. Paddock to plate from their own farm.

SUMMARY. hotel has enormous potential, room 2 is fab, love the feel and view. The whisky room amazing, breakfast quite adequate unless you’re a fat pig, the no-alcohol is good as far as I’m concerned, keeps drunkards away. One review made out like his life would end without a “drink in a raucous bar” !!??… yeah mate, YOU and the stinky smokers outside we can do without. Yes, the hotel is old, Hello, ALL the buildings are old here… why did you come here then? I have been here three times in...
