Our large group of friends adjusted plans, skipped planned quiet moments needed from the drive up, and left early to miss the next round of racket. Yes, the work needs to get done and busting up tile makes way for upgrades. I hope that the work is finished soon."

"It is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and indeed is an old building. Despite not having a fitness center or restaurant that is open before 7 am, microwave in the room, or other small amenities, I found this hotel to be quite charming, clean, safe and with very comfortable accommodations. The mattress and pillow were the most comfortable hotel bedding I can ever recall. The closet is large enough to fit a couch or small bed inside. There’s parking outside and a lot across the street as the hotel is located in downtown near the train station and courthouse. I had a great time in the early morning, walking down Main Street window shopping as nothing was yet open. I would choose to stay here again over other modern places nearby, and I highly recommend this hotel. "
