House is very old and only drawback (which is original to the house and should not be changed!) is the bar/latch style door handles. The Violet Room has its private bathroom across the hall landing, but if you get up in the night as we do, you do make a lot of noise rattling those handles! "Came to the area for a graduation and it was the perfect space for us. The only negative comment would be that the living room furniture is a little worn but didn’t distract from our stay. Loved that there is an air mattress as an option instead of the pull out couch. There are a few good food options in the area and a grocery store which was helpful.
