HOME NUISANCES
- INDIVIDUALLY OWNED: This condo is individually owned and managed. The HOA manages the community amenities and dictates availability. The private beach is always open.
- HOA: Schedules exterior construction and maintenance as needed so you might arrive to some exterior work being done. This is all scheduled through the HOA and we are often not given notice. While inconvenient, it does not take away from the private beach experience.
- COMPLEX IS LAKEFRONT, NOT THE UNIT: This condo complex is lakefront, but this unit is not directly on the lake. It is a very short walk from the lake. It does not have lake views. The deck overlooks another unit.
- ORIGINAL: This unit, while lovely, is original and not considered luxury so take that into consideration before booking.
- BEST FOR 6: This home sleeps 8 total but there is only one shower. The 2 beds in the loft are double sized so keep that in mind.

IMPORTANT INFO
- QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD: In Tahoe it’s so quiet at night that you could hear a pin drop! As a result, we can only host quieter groups that will abide by all of the county laws. Our guests are normally fine as long as they head inside or to the casinos after 10pm. Appreciate your understanding!
- REVIEWS: “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” We please ask that you have some grace and compassion when you review this owner’s home and we will do the same when we review you. This is very much appreciated!
- TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend that all of our lovely guests purchase travel insurance as we normally do not refund for Covid, smoke, fires, weather, snow storms, road closures, etc.
- WINTER TRAVEL ADVISORY: After the historic Winter of 2023, we recommend only 4WD vehicles with snow tires, tire chains and experience driving in the snow. Tahoe roads are icy and power outages are common.
- LATE CHECK OUT: Please let us know 24 hours prior to check out, if you wish to request a late check out. First hour is free then $25/hour after that, not to exceed 1pm. Please note our cleaners sometimes travel for up to 1 hour to clean this home so we ask that you please respect the 10am check out time.
- NO AC: Like most homes in Tahoe, there is no AC but we do provide plenty of fans.
- HIGH FIRE RISK: Lake Tahoe is a high-risk fire area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, smoking/improper disposal of cigarette butts and charcoal bbq’s are prohibited.
- BLACK BEARS: Black bears inhabit Lake Tahoe and are attracted to food and trash. Always lock your car doors, roll up windows and view from afar. Please do not feed our bears.
- TOWELS: We supply one bath towel, one wash cloth per occupant and then one hand towel per bathroom.
- SECURITY: Most of our homes have exterior-only security cameras and noise decibel monitoring systems to ensure we are in compliance with the county ordinance but we take our guests privacy VERY seriously. There is never indoor cameras. Most owners only look to see bears and snow levels at their homes :)

Thank you and happy travels!

Nice location
The rental was equiped with all needed items for the stay. Each bed downstairs is old, and uncomfortable. Beds need to be replaced. Beautiful deck out front, although it needs to be powerwashed so one can sit and enjoy it. Great location of rental as you Can walk to stores, restaurants...etc. Rental is right on the lake which is awesome. Pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable

Great spot and overall property fantastic
The property is accurate to the listing. Had to call them for an issue and was fixed immediately. Property is clean and comfortable. There is only one bathroom with a shower/bath...the other is only a half bath with no shower. The common area is great. There are gas fire pits right at the water. The pool is great and overall the property is very well maintained

Great location, unit needs attention
This condo is in a great location to access stores, restaurants, Harvey's and Harrah's casinos & The Village via scooter or walking. Close to clean, private beach, pool, hot tub and fire pits. Pretty noisy, as it's close to Lake Tahoe Blvd. Unit closer to beach would be quieter. Unit is very outdated and needs attention - dirty, stained carpet, musty smell, mildewy shower curtain, fans VERY dirty, piece under dishwasher broken and sticks out. No A/C. Kitchen adequately stocked. Mgmt staff VERY responsive & friendly. Beds mostly comfortable - loft beds need replacing (lumpy). We would definitely stay in this complex but not in this unit due to the cleanliness issues.

Family vacation pros and cons
Unfortunately we had to switch our dates due to a death. We thought it would be simple considering we purchased insurance however it was nothing short of a nightmare. Communication with grand welcome was difficult to say the least but eventually, the night before arrival we received a call allowing us to switch. While we are grateful, wish the process was smoother. Regarding the home, a few pros are that it is only a 5 min walk to beach but definitely bring a wagon or something to transport items. The house was very, very outdated and even though there was a threat on the door to keep floors clean because "they we're recently cleaned " they clearly were not. Multiple stains and just overall old. The dishwasher was also broken. I took many photos as the note was a bit scary. It was however a nice location where you could just rent an electric scooter and ride to many places which i highly recommended seeing that parking is limited. Overall ok stay

Great space in central location
We came to South Lake Tahoe for our Son’s basketball tournament. This location was close to grocery shopping, recreation, restaurants, and the beach. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. We loved the amount of space in the condo as well.

So Helpful
We stayed here as S Lake Tahoe was inundated with snow, which led to so many complications, but the resort staff and especially the management company were incredibly helpful and gracious. The were very cognizant of everything going on around us and subsequently very understanding when plans changed and accommodations needed to be made. Because of all that, we were much more able to enjoy the wonderfully ideal condo unit. The hot tub, sauna, and shuttle were all added bonuses of this place. And, it's location is within walking distance to a lot of stuff, which was great since driving was made difficult by the snow.

Enjoyed our time here. Place was nice although the comforter had a strange smell and we had to clean out the bathtub drain to use the shower. Parking was limited. But for the most part everything else was great. Thank you.

It was very nice and relaxing
Nice little condo not lakefront at all, it’s on a busy street. Everything was perfect except one thing. Their pans are worn out and when I tried to cook my scrambled egg it would stick to the pot. Other than that everything else was more than perfect!

Good Location
The location is great because its close to all the shops and restaurants, and the check-in is really easy, as well. The management respond quickly to any of my inquiries. The townhome is nice. There are somethings about the place that need improvement. The listing says 2 bathroom but the place we stayed in only have 1.5 bathroom. Not a big deal but hopefully it states clearly when we booked it. The place when we arrive looks clean but we found hairs (and some dog hairs) on the carpet and on all beddings. The cleaning fee was a little hefty and found areas that we expected to be clean or task that we felt should be part of the cleaning fee we paid. There is no simple condiments or seasonings available to use and you definitely need to bring everything if you wish to cook. The kitchen have the majority of tools you need for cooking and to have a good meal. Other than those mentioned, our stay was comfortable and convenient. We love our hang out around the living room and that the house is conveniently located to all the activities we want to do in South Lake Tahoe.

Is was not clean and it smells bad
I had stay in the complex before but this one in particular was really dusty over the lamps on the windows. It smells bad also. They don’t even left me the code for the garage. They left anote saying the carpet had just being clean but it was really duty the carpet. Overall I was not satisfied with my stay.

Great Location
This property was just as described. You can't beat the location. The house was great, my only issue with the house was that there were only 2 beach chairs. My husband and 3 teens wanted to hang out on the beach by the lake, but we had to take turns sitting. The living room is also very dark, as was the rest of the house. Otherwise, this place was great!

We loved this condo!
Everything was wonderful for us at this condo. It was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The living room was spacious for us to lounge in, and the dining area table was nice and large so we could have big family-style meals. We utilized the kitchen a lot and it was perfect!

Great property!
This was perfect for my wife, 3 year old and I to spend discovering the area, while having a great location and OUTSTANDING amenities at the condo complex. The condo is clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Excellent beds and pillows, nice to have washer/dryer, everything in good working order. Note that it is the closest condo in the complex to the road, but we all slept well- including our 3 year old. It only gets noisy during the day- nighttime barely noticeable. Wouldn’t put it in the ‘light and bright’ category either but with a few lights on it is fine. But the real highlight- and value- is the location, and use of the beautiful beach and lake front, jetty, pool area, and services at the condo complex... Great for all ages, and parking included, with great restaurants nearby (walking distance). Play equipment 100 ft from door of condo was +++ for us also! Highly recommend!

Condo worked well for the 5 of us. Kitchen was adequately supplied. It would have been nice to have Kleenex available as the air was dry and Smokey at times. The use of the pools was a plus. Thank you.

Great place for summer fun!
The unit is as advertised, suitable for 5 adults and 2 toddlers. The living area is roomy, not like some places I've stayed where the photos look big, but then you get there and it is tiny. The 2 toddlers we had with us had plenty of room to spread out their toys and play. We enjoyed the large dining table also. It is approx. 100 yards or so to the beach if you zig zag through the condos. Beach and pool are very nice! We never had any trouble finding a spot at either and some chairs / loungers. There's a nice playground adjacent to this unit also. One note - I called the condo office a week prior to arrival to inquire about the availability of grills. They said I could rent one for $25 a night. When we arrived however we were informed that since the unit isn't in their rental pool, we did not have access to their rental grills, only the ones at the beach. Small issue, just fyi.

Enjoyed a wonderful family getaway! Stayed here for three nights with my children and grandchildren.
We had a great time here. The home was comfortable and nicely decorated. We were adjacent to the playground, which was a nice surprise for the grandchildren. We had a short walk to the private beach, where the snack bar, restrooms and showers were very well maintained. We enjoyed evening walks to the pier to watch stunning sunsets. We all had an amazing time and would enjoy visiting again in the future.

Convenient location with nice resort amenities and close to tourist activities
The Condo was clean, spacious and comfortable and had all that we needed. We stayed from July 22 to July 29 and it was unseasonably hot, but there were fans and it cooled down every evening. The resort beach and pool near the lake were a little bit of a walk but very nice with options for shade as well as full sun. Also there are Kayaks for rental at the resort. A short walk north along the beach brought us to the pier where there were opportunities to rent paddle boards, boats or jet skis or take a tour or go parasailing as well as a nice restaurant. Great golf options are nearby as well convenient grocery shopping. Ride the Gondola up to Heavenly Village which has many fun things to do. The Casinos are nearby and the resort has a shuttle service. The Wifi was slow but adequate for email. Parking is very tightly controlled in Lakeland Village (parking passes for 2 vehicles come with this unit) so visitor parking can be an issue. All in all I would recommend this unit as it is reasonably priced, comfortable, well maintained and therefore a good value. I would definitely stay here again.

Great for kids in the summer
Liked the property a lot for a family summer vacation. Nice pools, great beach and family-friendly atmosphere. Unit itself was as described, not luxury but very clean and very comfortable living room. May be difficult for a big group in the winter given only one shower but the layout worked for us. We loved the location for convenience to restaurants and attractions and even hitched a few rides on the property shuttle from the lodge (maybe not officially included but drivers were friendly). Check out the South Lake Tahoe water shuttle in the summer, you can walk to the nearby marina and get a very affordable boat tour of the south lake and stop at a few marinas. Great for kids who get antsy on long boat tours. As first-time visitors to Tahoe we were surprised how weak our LTE cell signal was, making wifi far more important. Would definitely be worth the owners investing in their own wifi in addition to the property-wide wifi which never worked for us.
