"All in all the stay was ok. Only there for 1 night. Cannot give 5 stars because the first room they gave us was either not cleaned or all ready occupied. Unmade beds and slurpee and other dirty glasses all over the room plus dirty towels on the floor. We had to go back to the front desk and get another room. Other than that, everything else was fine."

"My family and I loved this house. There was 6 of us and we all had plenty of room. The house had everything we needed, very well stocked. In a nice and quiet area of Charleston. Great location, just a short drive from downtown, the river front and shopping. We will definitely stay again if it's available!"

"Overall, I felt like this was a quality budget hotel and a good option for an overnight stay while passing through. We arrived just before midnight and were back on the road around 7 a.m., so our stay was pretty short. My first impression when we walked into the room was that I could definitely see where the “Microtel” name comes from. The room was more compact than what we’ve experienced at most other hotels. For our seven-hour stay, this really didn’t affect us, but I could see it becoming a little annoying during a multi-night stay. There wasn’t a separate sitting area, so the bed was really the only place to sit and relax. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which is always a big metric for me. The bed was also pretty comfortable. My only real complaint was the room’s air-conditioning unit. It was a typical exterior-wall unit with the thermostat built into it, so it cycled on and off about every 10–15 minutes throughout the night. Normally that wouldn’t be a huge deal, but our particular unit had a pretty noticeable rattle, which made for a somewhat noisy night of sleep. One big positive is the location. It was very close to the expressway, making it easy to get on and off the highway, but despite that, we didn’t hear any outside or road noise from our room. Breakfast was decent. I had a waffle, which tasted good, and skipped most of the other options. The selection was somewhat limited and could have used a little more variety, but I still a"

"Our host Sarah was always quick to respond with any questions we had . The house is absolutely beautiful, and we loved all the beautiful woodwork and art throughout . The home has several areas to sit, relax and visit, Including the joy of sitting on the front porch in rocking chairs, watching the rainstorms and at night and listening to the frogs! There is an amazing group of restaurants and stores within walking distance just a few blocks away. We had one humorous confusion on our part, as we thought the one bedroom was on the main level, which we thought was the ground level. On ground level below the main level, there is a huge bedroom suite, a large comfortable sitting area, and bathroom . Our family highly recommends this beautiful home to anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay while exploring the area. I hope on a future trip to reserve it again."
