"This cute and cozy apartment was in an excellent location. We were the first guest to stay here and we had a few concerns: the chairs in the kitchen were broken as was a door frame. The command hooks fell off the several times. There was no place to hang clothes and shelves which held the dishes were dirty and dusty as well as appliances. Some coffee and Kleenex would have a nice. The place has the potential to be amazing with a little more attention to details. We have stayed in many, many...

"The apt was in an older home but it had a separate entrance. It's a quaint and quirky place and it suited our needs and budget perfectly.We enjoyed the walkability factor as it is very close to Warren Street.During our stay, there was a plumbing issue with the downstairs tenant, But the hostess was very gracious about it and made arrangements with a plumber immediately.A very pleasant stay overall. Thank you."

"This location was perfect for hiking the AT. The trail is only a few feet from the front door. The backyard is very nice, and they had chairs and tables to sit out. The apartment was a nice size for two people. There was no tv, so we used our computer. The kitchen was great to have since we didn't plan on eating out every night. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. The hosts were great and very responsive. The fall colors made the trip extra special."

The apartment is complete new and immaculate. It was very comfortable for the four of us. The only reason that the overall review is four not five stars is that the dryer wasn't working and the kitchen had absolutely now supplies or an ice tray. "I was in town to attend an inspection on a house we made an offer on in nearby Becket. The Whitlock was perfect for me. It was conveniently located, in town, close to dining, and with easy parking. The inn was historic, charming, and had lots of character. It was exactly what I was looking for. There is now staff available on premises from 7 am to 10 pm. I was able to check in on site. The outer doors were locked at night. I would definitely come back."
