"I would give the overall experience 4 out of 5 stars. I have more positive things than negative to say about Harbour Square. One improvement they could make would be to add clear signage that helps visitors know they have arrived at Harbour Square. The check-in office has signage, but it is still confusing since the office doesn’t say “Harbour Square” anywhere and is a part of the same building at the adjoining bar. Our suite was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The staff checked our family in very early and gave us a place to quickly settle in before exploring the island, which was a real blessing. Our suite was a balcony suite, which required climbing a set of rustic stairs. It wouldn’t be considered handicap accessible because there is no available elevator. That’s just the nature of the building, so no real complaints, though. The balcony provides a great view of the area overlooking the bar area downstairs. The suite was cool on a hot day, and I got a good night’s sleep after a long day. I was thankful to have a nice suite so close to the many businesses and the Jet Express dock! Thank you Harbour Square!"

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Sandusky near Cedar Point

"The room was big but one side of the room was way too hot and there was no ways to bring the temperature down. The room was "clean" when we got in but you could easily see that it was done VERY fast. We had 1/3 of a toilet paper roll, no kleenex, 2 towels for a room with 6 persons, the little bottles of shampoo were already used and myou could find food all around the floor. No blankets for the pull out bed. The employee at the front desk was really sweet and helpful. The pool was clean and open late. Breakfast was good but it was always impossible to sit to eat because there were not enough tables for everyone. If you are not very difficult and just want a place to stay while you visit cedar point, this hotel is for you. It felt safe and no bed bugs."

"Staff was very nice at check in, property was clean, safe (no rif raff or noisy guests), & room was clean. Price was just right on this one & we would def stay again as we were only in the room for 9hrs to sleep after attending Cedar Point & headed there again first thing in the morning. Furnishings were outdated & seen better days, BUT the beds were clean & comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, & that's all we needed to sleep before getting back to the park! At that price we will def be back! :)"
