"I stay in this hotel regularly. At least 2 times a year. So I’m a regular. I’ve paid for late checkout on numerous occasions. This time, I asked for late checkout. It was granted till 2pm, which I appreciated. But I do wonder why, as a regular, the hotel does not make an effort to gain my loyalty by offering me a late checkout at 6pm once a while. "

"First three day were difficult as the bathroom waste pipes were leaking smell into the room, we were eventually moved to another room which was fine for the framing 3 days. Lounge access was ideal for afternoon and evening snacks. "

"We stayed here before the refurbishment (pre COVID) and we were keen to see how the hotel might have changed. What was the same was the excellent friendly service and staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Likewise the room was clean and well equipped. The pool area has changed a lot and we missed the old water cannon and the thermal aqua therapy spa, but the pool staff were extremely good, in particular Sandeep who helped us settle into our loungers ever morning. It's still a lovely place to stay in Abu Dhabi and offers exceptional value for the price."

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island

"This Four Seasons brings luxury and service that you’d expect at any Four Seasons. I was there for a night for business. It’s a functional hotel of its category. I can’t say that it has a kind of character that is more unique to any other 5* hotel in a major metropolis, except that I would not characterise Abu Dhabi as a major metropolis, unlike Dubai for instance. But for my meetings and for the convenience of being connected to the Galeria Mall and all the best culinary offerings available in Abu Dhabi and indeed the world, it served its purpose. I like the hotel and I’ll probably stay there again when I go to Abu Dhabi for business. But for some reason, I can’t be excited about it, if that makes any sense. It ticks all the fabulous boxes but it somehow isn’t special. Does that make any sense?"

"We had the most wonderful holiday at the Jumeriah Saadiyat. The staff and the service they provided was incredible- they went over and beyond to help and make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The resort itself catered for all of us (as a family with a young child); the pools, the beach, the restaurants and gym/spa facilities were superb. We went for our anniversary and wanted a luxurious experience - Jumeriah Saadiyat met these expectations and more. I would highly recommend a stay here, with or without children."
