"Historical stories of area and the Inn itself were interesting. Staff and fellow guest were nice. Comfortable beds and delicious breakfast. Will recommend to friends and family. "

"Fantastic spot for a weekend getaway. Really peaceful and exactly what we needed to relax and refresh. The cabin is within walking distance of several trails, a waterfall and if you venture to the top of the road, you'll get incredible views of the rollercoaster at (now closed) Ghost Town Village. Would definitely stay here again. "
"Three generations of my family (ages 17 - 87) spent a week at Ridgeview Retreat. The house is large, spacious, well-appointed, clean, comfortable and has spectacular views of the mountains. I appreciated Racquel's attention to detail and the comprehensive binder she has created with information about the house, nearby attractions, and dining recommendations. The home is not far from town but feels serene and secluded. There are plenty of games and tvs inside the house but we mostly enjoyed the nature views from the expansive decks and screened-in porch. We even got to see a mama bear and her four cubs pass through the property! We explored nearby towns such as Cherokee, Sylva (eat at Ilda!), Bryson City, Lake Junaluska, Asheville and even Dollywood. We also enjoyed Smokey Mountain National Park and driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We did try to always return to the house before dark as the last stretch to the house is gravel, narrow, and winding, which we are not used to driving on. Highly recommend this home for a large group!"

"We had an amazing time at this cabin! Spacious 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with big eat in kitchen, sectional sofa, picnic table on the porch. The trip up and down the mountain was an adventure in itself but we loved it! Would absolutely stay again and recommend! "
"The lodge sat upon a beautiful mountain side where the rabbits romed freely. The long gravel road with twist and turns was an adventure for those in our party who never experince mountain side living but by the the time we left they were old pro's and were really enjoying their adventure. The decor made you feel relaxed and at home, with plenty of space for everyone. We all, all 23 of us enjoyed our visit & would love to roast marshmellows around the fire pit again as many enjoyed the hot tub at mid night. For anyone traveling with elderly or handicapped the main floor entrance was the best for us and I think with a few changes in the jack & jill bathroom would make this lodge a number 1 for all. "
Perfect Getaway Surrounded by Nature in Maggie Valley NC!
10/10 Excellent
"spent a wonderfully relaxing time in the mountains! The hosts thought of all amenities including a well appointed coffee station :). Despite some thunderstorms we were able to enjoy local museums, water fall attractions, a visit to the local spa, and even some short hikes. Great to be “off the grid”! Highly recommend!"
Beautiful Mountain Top Retreat Long Range Views, Hot Tub,Ping Pong,Horseshoe pit

"This place is in a wonderfully secluded location that has amazing views of the Smokies, and all of the amenities you would ever want or need for a fantastic visit. The hot tub is a really nice feature for a relaxing end to the day. If you are a native plant lover the place is surrounded by them! Rare flame azalea's and rhododendrons and it goes on and on. I think the descriptions and pictures are accurate, although just like any other place there are some features you have to get used to (sa we had 8 people and the nice large dining table only had 6 nice chairs....we had to bring up a couple of other chairs from around the house). The kitchen is very well stocked and all of the bedrooms and facilities are in very good shape. You are literally 3 miles from Joey's Pancake House which was our final event before leaving this beautiful area. I think this is a great place to spend some time, and you will not be disappointed!"
