"The fitness center has the basics but bigger than most hotels. They don't clean your room unless you ask and one day they couldn't but they left me anything we needed, ie, towels, toilet paper, etc. You can use their AI bot via text and that was helpful and I had toothbrushes sent up. They seem like they are really busy. We left something in the room and it wasn't an easy process to get it to the front desk for a family friend to pick up. But we eventually retrieved it. It's expensive to eat and get coffee there, so make sure you bring your own water and snacks. If you are a health nut, definitely bring some healthy food options, they have a small fridge in the rooms."

"⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) My experience at Showboat Atlantic City was disappointing overall. The hotel appears to be severely understaffed. I booked 6 rooms, but at check-in only 2 rooms were ready. We then had to wait an additional 3 hours for the remaining 4 rooms to become available, which was extremely frustrating, especially for a large group. The check-in process itself took a very long time due to the lack of staff. Another major issue was the hotel Wi-Fi. It was so slow that my cellular data connection was consistently faster than the hotel’s internet service. I will say that the rooms themselves were clean, which I appreciated. However, many areas of the hotel had a strong smoke smell, which made the overall environment less enjoyable. One positive experience worth mentioning was when I accidentally lost my glasses in the lazy river at the waterpark. The staff members were very kind and went out of their way to help me retrieve them, and I was very grateful for their assistance. Overall, while the hotel has a great location and fun attractions, the understaffing, delayed room availability, slow Wi-Fi, and smoke odor throughout the property made this a disappointing stay. I hope management addresses these issues because the hotel has a lot of potential."
