"Lovely place to stay, walk down the street to watch fairy penguins arriving home from a day at sea. Short walk to pub and best scones at Touchwood Cafe, good for breakfast as well."

"Loved my little get away. Beautiful little part of Tassie. Fantastic friendly service. Carolyn lent me her own personal phone charger for the duration of my stay ( forgot mine ). Lots of easy walking tracks around the river. Will definitely be back . "

"We loved our stay at Tall Timbers, great for families. We had our 6yo granddaughter with us and she enjoyed the pool area and the meals. If the spa could have been a couple of degrees warmer than the pool, everything would have been perfect."

"We stayed in the studio cottage. It is with good ambiance and very spacious unit with full stocked kitchen facilities. The sea view is excellent and all made our stay very pleasant. There was a recent ownership transition and check in was through a phone call. We booked another unit originally with welcome gift and that was changed and we only found out after checking in. The new owner called and apologised and promised some compensation but never heard again. There was no instruction on WiFi connection and eventually connected but didn’t work well. Stanley is unique place to visit and this cottage made it very walkable to all attractions easily."
