Interesting little town & surrounding areas


Great pool. Spa was not warm. No AC in rooms. Grounds were beautiful and staff was efficient and friendly. I would not call this a 4-star hotel however. It was more like a nice 2-star. Bottle shop on property was nice.

A nice spacious, well equipped house. Surrounded by commercial property but close to the supermarket and a great base for day tripping around the Tarkine Valley.

The property has the most wonderful views from its elevated position. The driveway is steep - but worth it. There is so much to do and see around here. The Tarkine, the Nut, Woolnorth - all must dos
Liked the riverside walk with the mini gyms. Smithton was very quiet - not a lot going on. Surrounding areas offered more like the Tarkine area. Didn't know about the Lion Park until this survey.
Bigger country town. Handy to do lovely Tarkine drive & see the sights within & forests.
