"It's in a good location. Easy to get a bus or cross the street to get things you need at Target or a breakfast at IHop. But that's about it. Mold in various places, hookers walking about. Very weak toilets. At least the room temperature was easy to manage. It's doable but don't expect it to be a great hotel experience. It's a motel. Better as a last resort or a place you are gonna try and be away from for everything but sleep. No roaches or bedbugs at least so that's a PLUS"

"Es un hotel hermoso, muy limpio y seguro. El desayuno estuvo muy bien, el gimnasio muy bien adecuado con todo lo necesario para hacer una buena rutina, lo amé. El personal excelente y muy amable. Lo único que me sorprendió fue que la piscina estuviera cerrada, fue una de las razones para escoger el hotel y en interné no se informaba que estaba temporalmente cerrada pero en conclusión fuen buena la estadía. "The staff at the front desk were really nice and helpful. O problems at check in or out. The manager was super friendly. The only issues I had were the room was decent but we had no hot water when we arrived. I called they fixed it then the next morning same issue. No hot water. We paid for a room with a jacuzzi tub and we weren’t even able to use it because of the water issues. It was convenient as far as location but I’d doubt I’m coming back. "

"We had a great stay at Poplar House. We opted for a two bedroom unit and it was fantastic. Just enough space, a fully equipped kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer (they provided laundry pods), and a dishwasher (they also provided dishwasher pods!). Literally every single thing that we could think of was provided for us. The rooms were spotless. Bathrooms were also impeccably clean. Xavier was communicative and quick to respond, and he helped us figure out how to check in because the door to the building is sort of in a weird area. The convenience of this place is truly unmatched— seriously, it was nicer than a lot of hotels that I’ve stayed in. I’ll admit that I had some worries based on other reviews that I saw before coming, and I’m glad that I didn’t pay them much mind. We had a great stay and I can't wait to come back."
