"Truly excellent in every way. They do not have lifts/elevators but they go out of their way to help with luggage. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. A special mention for Dwight. I enjoyed the welcome drink which was very generous. Very nice pub too. This is now my go to choice for a hotel in London. "

"The Crown & Cushion is a delightful, old characterful pub in a convenient location. In line with its charming character, stairs are steep to rooms and floorboards wonky, so not good for people with reduced mobility. The en-suite in the room was large, bed comfortable. Had dinner and breakfast, food is great. All staff are friendly and helpful, particularly Carlos who was brilliant. "

"I needed to find a location on the outskirts of Reading and easy access to the M4. The Wee Waif has a good sizes car park and restaurant with a good selection of food. "

"Lovely staff, lovely room but total utter disaster of a stay!!! I’ve travelled ALOT! This has to be the worst room EVER!!!! What seemed like right on top of a karaoke bar! I had earplugs but you could still feel the base thumping through the floor until midnight! I may aswell have gone down stairs & tried to sleep on the dance floor!!!"
