Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa

2/10 Terrible

"well we have been coming here for years and I dont know if its due to the new manager or what but I was very disappointed with the quality of the resort. we booked 3 night paid close to $900.00 my sister and her boyfriend also got a room for the same price we both had the same complaints. can't watch tv because theres no service to stream anything, no wifi. no signal for even basic channels so you can't watch tv, the outlets didnt work anywhere what so ever and we have complained about that before. also the gate that let's you in from the lake wouldn't open for anyone and theres no who to get back in we saw on our last day they were finally fixing the gate. the pool, game room gym movie room all closed at 10pm even on Fri. Sat. nights. and the restroom in that area too were closed by 9:30pm rooms were not well maintained peeling wallpaper, ants, over bad stay. pillows are horrible."

"The room smelled like marijuana or some other smoke. It was loud even on the top floor. TV remote has Netflix but when you click it it’s not available. My phone & watch chargers did not work in ANY outlet but worked just fine at the Hilton. The staff were very friendly & professional. That is the only thing keeping me from giving one star. It’s also a bad look when an amputee is wheeling around the lobby all day like it’s a homeless shelter. I deal with this at work & don’t need it when I just want to sleep & go back to it. Very disappointed. Won’t go back EVER"

"The room itself was nice, the AC was great. They had a luggage cart which was nice. The not so great stuff- when we got there, there was a police officer talking with some guests. There is no security. My sister and husband witnessed some man on the stairs right outside our hotel doing drugs, then the same man was passed out in the hallway by the backdoor, which was by our room. There was no coffee maker in our room, so in the morning my sister asked if they had any coffee (because they are supposed to have breakfast, but we couldn't find it) the front desk person looked at her like she had three heads and the handed her a small personal bag of coffee and said there is a coffee a coffee maker in our room!"

"Stay was much better than the last thanks to stapler customer service from the staff, unfortunately we were hoping to use the amenities but a significant amount were closed for renovations. Wish that was disclosed during the booking process. Still, would stay here again"
