    The Space:

    The Reading Rooms consists of an open-plan living space including a kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher, a dining area, a sitting area with Smart TV and woodburning stove, a snug with Smart TV, a cloakroom with basin and WC, and a boot room. The bedrooms consist of two doubles (zip/link) with en-suite bath and shower room. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a front and side garden with furniture, plus off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet welcome, but sorry, no smoking. Within 5.7 miles, you will find a shop, and within 4.5 miles, a pub. Escape to the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park with a stay at The Reading Rooms. Note: There are a few steps up to snug and boot room, please take care.



    The Neighborhood:

    Nestling at the foot of Buckden Pike, near the head of Upper Wharfedale, this idyllic village makes the perfect place from which to explore the wonderful scenery and pretty villages of this magnificent Dale. Much of Upper Wharfedale is National Trust owned – an indication of the beauty of its classic countryside, with dry-stone walls and barns, important flower-rich hay meadows and valleyside woodland. Undoubtedly, this is one of the best walking areas in the Dales with The Dales Way passing nearby. The village itself comprises a cluster of stone-built cottages and houses with a traditional green at its centre. A perfect location for a holiday!
