Top Skipton Hotel Reviews
The Black Horse Hotel Grassington
8/10 Good
"Good food and comfortable bedrooms."
The Railway
10/10 Excellent
"Extremely easy to locate the hotel using the postcode given. We arrived in Skipton rather early and parked in the long stay car park round the back which is £8.10 for 9 hours but free from 6pm- 9am. There is free parking on the side road next to the hotel if you're lucky enough to secure a space. We had a lovely walk round Skipton centre - it's full of independent shops selling gifts, coffee, cakes and fish to name but a few. Great to see also lots of little pubs and banks/ building societies still going strong. We were able to check in earlier than 3pm and our room ( number 2) was absolutely perfect for our overnight comfort. Our curry cruise that evening was super but it was surpassed by the amazing full english breakfast at The Railway. We look forward to our next visit to Skipton and another stay in this lovely inn. Thankyou ❤️"
Grassington Lodge
8/10 Good
"Stay often, so it must be good"
Craven Heifer
8/10 Good
"Brilliant hotel. Cosy place (which even had the pub dog greeting us which was amazing!). Only thing preventing this from being 5 stars was the shower facilities. Shower faucet is restrictive which can cause issues if you’re not wanting to get your hair wet. Maybe disposable shower caps could be provided to help this issue. Other than that though a fantastic place in a peaceful location. Would definitely stay again!"
The Skipton Hotel
8/10 Good
"Room was clean though it had a slight smell. Parking was rough. They had a big lot but there was not room for parking our rental so we had to wait for someone to leave when we parked. It was perfect for our needs I would stay again."
Lister Arms
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in the Lister Farmhouse, which was delightful. The room was spacious, well designed with the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning. Breakfast was equally lovely, with Tom on-hand to provide you with great service and great food. We also had dinner at the Lister Arms on both the nights we stayed, with each meal exceptional. I would recommend you book ahead as every table was taken each night, and given the quality of the food, it’s not hard to see why."
Oughtershaw Hall - a large propertie that sleeps 16 guests in 8 bedrooms
10/10 Excellent
"The indoor pool and sauna are a bonus enjoyed by all. Red squirrels sighted daily in the extensive garden . This is our second family holiday in this palatial house."
The Plough Inn
8/10 Good
"We did not get the room that we booked, we were offered a refund of £40 to compensate us, however we have to ask for this when we checked out"
Herriots
8/10 Good
"Room was quite large and contained everything that needed, the breakfast was filling and freshly prepared the only down side was no lift"
