" My idea of going to Lake George is to go swimming in Lake George and The Villas allow you to do so very conveniently. It has a nice lake side area in a pleasant cove. It is sited between Lake George Village and Bolton Landing and via the Diamond Point Road easy access to the Rte 28 and the Adirondaks. Finding places to eat can easily be expanded to include Glens Falls area Lake Luzerne and Warrensburg. It is also nicely placed as a base for hiking and bike riding in the mountains. The Villas is a busy place during the day since it also is the home of the Thunderbird marina where you can rent a craft to go out on the lake. At night the grounds are quiet and well lit and we found our fellow customers to be quiet and respectful. The grounds and our rooms were clean thanks to a dutiful staff. I enjoyed my stay."
