"The room was clean and had useful plug ins for iPhone charging etc …. Bed super comfy and a very decent en suite with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious and great to have freshly made sourdough and vegetables from the garden. Staff that we met were delightful …. Really enjoyed meeting the other guests at the communal breakfast and sharing stories …. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely unit in a house right across the street from the beach in a cute neighborhood. Easy access to dining or you can cook in the apartment. We met the owner and he was very gracious, looking to make sure we had a great stay. He even bought us breakfast when we ran into him at Tim’s. I booked through VRBO and didn’t receive the check in information prior to our arrival. I called the host when we got there and they texted the information right away. I would absolutely recommend By the Beach. Perfect for a family or two couples travelling together."

"This was a nice unit. Clean and well equipped for what we needed. In a residential neighbourhood, a bit of a walk to the beach. It's not a huge town so driving to get what we needed wasn't a problem. We'd stay there again."
