"We stayed at Alder House for the Gros Morne Hiking Festival and although the Festival didn’t recommend this area, we found it perfect. It was a 30 minute drive to to the Water’s Edge, Festival Headquarters in Woody Point which was no hardship because it was stunning! We were awestruck just driving in to the Festival. ( plus being close to the Jackladder for a turkey mess and a Day Boil was the bomb). Alder House is absolutely perfect for 3 couples with 3 bedrooms, all queen size beds. It has a fully functional kitchen and the living room was a comfy spot for talking about our adventures. Really nice spot. Thanks Neil. "

"This was a very cozy place! Lovely decorations, well furnished. The stairs up to the bedroom were a bit steep (just for future visitors with mobility issues) but everything was very comfortable and clean! Highly reccomend for a getaway, beautiful grounds! Was so funny to see the chickens milling about as we were leaving! "
