Top Sinkyone State Wilderness Hotel Reviews
The Northern Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed one night, it was better than anticipated. A nice quiet, clean place to lay our heads for the night. I appreciate the hard wood floors, much better than carpet imo. The bed was comfortable, the shower was warm. The shampoo etc. was lovely. Plenty of towels. Internet connection. Plugs in lamp by bedside. An added bonus was the fridge/microwave. Check in and out was easy breezy and the managers/owners(?) were very accommodating and kind."

Benbow Historic Inn

"It’s an old hotel expect it to be that, but it was clean. I read the reviews so I was expecting it to be old so I was not disappointed. It is a Beautiful hotel with a nice European History. Our room smelled like old cigarettes and old people. My husband had to get the spider and his web off of the ceiling…It was dark even in the day time. We heard a door close very loudly early in the morning and at night. It was Very Loud! It’s a well preserved place but it’s over due for a complete remodel of the room 110. I only know it this room. It’s one the best rooms and only two of them. It just smelled so bad I had to use my deodorant as an air freshener. I got home and was charged for room a second time and it was less than what I had originally paid through Expedia. So what is the real price? Our were we gouged on-line? We were there for the Raggae Festival. We paid more booking it on-line and in advance. We were offered a buffet that was being offered due to the event but I think it was expensive for what they offered $65.00 for two for the basics, no smoked salmon, shrimp or mimosas. I am still trying to figure out the resort fees and what makes it a resort? Would I go again? It depends. They have an EV charger which had we known we would have driven our EV they don’t mention it online. We definitely appreciated the shuttle that picked us up and took us to the event although the hotel had no knowledge of it when we called and inquired about it."
Black Sands Inn

"We loved our stay and we fell in love with Shelter Cove! Location was amazing! Bed & bedding were excellent! The room was small but had everything we needed. The room and property were average clean. Being just steps from the ocean (my favorite thing about this stay) it has the normal ocean weathering. The mattress was exceptional and the pillows & bedding were above average not to mention that the sound of the waves lulled me to sleep. My only issue was that I lost phone service and did not get check in instructions, but I was able to get logged into the WiFi and called for the info. My call was answered right away and all was good!"

Oceanfront Luxurious Home, Pet Friendly, Hot Tub, Fly In and Walk from Airstrip
10/10 Excellent
"The views are stupendous. The kitchen is the nicest kitchen we've experienced in a vacation rental. Not only are the appliances and space above average (eg sub-zero fridge, 2nd sink), but it is well equipped with quality cookware, large cutting boards, my favorite vegetable peeler, etc. Great amenities for fun family vacation--pool table in the living room, ping pong in the garage, hot tub, tidepools feel like they are in your backyard. Plenty of private spaces for alone time and great spaces for gathering as a group. The only thing that would be challenging for some guests is the 3 levels, lots of stairs. One bedroom suite on ground level, two suites on 2nd level, and kitchen and living room plus half bath on 3rd level. For us, the stair workout was fun, but could be hard for some."
