"The bungalow was very clean and welcoming. It is one of the best places we've stayed in. Lovely views, a great rear garden and walks straight from the door. We wanted to stay somewhere where we could relax (we live in Cromer, just a few miles away from the Grove, and it gets very busy this time of year) and the Grove was perfect. Our elderly dog settled in immediately and found a new lease of life. A change of scenery did us all a world of good!"

"If you're looking for a down to earth, functional hotel with amazing views and unbelievable access to breath taking beaches, this is a really good hotel. It isn't pretentious, fancy or trying to be anything that it isn't, but the facilities all work, the beds are clean/comfy and the staff are always there when you need them. It's popular with families but you can still find quiet corners for a couple on a romantic weekend. I would go there again and was glad I didn't think myself above trying somewhere different which turned out to be a hidden gem."

"Absolutely lovely staff. Room was very good, excellent bathroom, storage space and comfortable bed. Only two areas for improvement: my room was above the bar and the music was a bit annoying, it was the sort of dance pop music you get in supermarkets. Disappointing that it was playing throughout the public areas downstairs, including the restaurant. I like music and have no problem with it! But it was just the wrong music to enjoy dinner with. The other area for improvement is the breakfast arrangement. I don't mind a buffet but it would have been better if coffee was served to order, not left in an insulated jug so only just warm enough. Apart from the music and the coffee at breakfast I was very happy with my stay."

"We loved our stay here, really quiet location on a small lake. Excellent base to visit the broads as well as the coast. This may not be for everyone due to the dated interior but we loved the homely, looked after feel. There is no wifi and very little mobile reception so if you want to have a weekend 'off-grid' this is perfect. We are hoping to return in the future."

"Excellent stay very dog friendly with nice morning and evening dog walks straight from the door. Pleasant neighbour was helpful when we got a flat tyre Would prefer somewhere nearer to the coast but we were aware of this when we booked. The property would suite most people. Pub 5 minutes walk North Walsham is 8 - 10 minutes drive for shops which is very convenient."

"Victoria cottage was well-equipped, clean,, super comfortable bed and lovely kitchen Stairs were advertised as steep - we found them to be totally manageable. A great base from which to explore North Norfolk. Area around the cottage is super quiet and peaceful."
