"If you're looking for a down to earth, functional hotel with amazing views and unbelievable access to breath taking beaches, this is a really good hotel. It isn't pretentious, fancy or trying to be anything that it isn't, but the facilities all work, the beds are clean/comfy and the staff are always there when you need them. It's popular with families but you can still find quiet corners for a couple on a romantic weekend. I would go there again and was glad I didn't think myself above trying somewhere different which turned out to be a hidden gem."

"Beautiful location and bedrooms. However communal area ie. Accommodation stairs and hallway needs attention. Parking can be an issue as anyone can park in pub carpark for free, just to go to the beach for the day."

"Absolutely lovely staff. Room was very good, excellent bathroom, storage space and comfortable bed. Only two areas for improvement: my room was above the bar and the music was a bit annoying, it was the sort of dance pop music you get in supermarkets. Disappointing that it was playing throughout the public areas downstairs, including the restaurant. I like music and have no problem with it! But it was just the wrong music to enjoy dinner with. The other area for improvement is the breakfast arrangement. I don't mind a buffet but it would have been better if coffee was served to order, not left in an insulated jug so only just warm enough. Apart from the music and the coffee at breakfast I was very happy with my stay."

"10/10 stay. Really lovely chalet, well positioned for the beach, local pub, and only a few mins walk from the shops in the town. It is small but is clean, comfy and has everything you need, and the park it is on is really quiet. The beach is excellent, and having chairs and a windbreak in the box outside was a real bonus."

"This is a great place to relax. The park itself is quiet and small. About a 2 or 3 minute walk to the beach. The chalet was so clean, warm and comfortable. Had a lot of little extras which we tend to take but didn’t need to. It was all provided. The outside furniture was all clean so we were able to use it. Bear in mind it is still winter. The welcome basket was great with loads of dog treats, which our dogs found straight away and tried to get in it. Loved our stay and will definitely be back."

"This is a very comfortable cottage with very good facilities. We appreciated access to a variety of of apps on the smart tv.It is well placed for visiting the lovely beach as well as being in easy reach of local attractions.I would have liked to score it very good but that was not offered as a rating.I think that visitors should be aware that the avenue is quite narrow and the attractive area outside the cottage is part of the access road and not a private area."
