Beautifully restored and spotlessly clean. Some people might have trouble with the stairs, and some might miss television but I loved it. Would stay there again for sure.

The only problem we had was the steep stairs up to our room. But it is a historical building so it is the way it has to be no room for a elevator. Since we are older it would have been nice for the staff to help us up the stairs with luggage. But our room was so very clean and great bed and bath. The weather was warmer than normal so we had to open the window to cool the room but has a ceiling fan.

This historic hotel has been beautifully preserved and it was great fun to stay there. The rates were good, the service friendly, and the amenities all provided. It should be clear that there is one bathroom to ten bedrooms, but it's very well kept. Our bed was quite stiff and neither of us slept particularly well. I still highly recommend.

Teller House is an old style pre-TV inn. Furnishings include many well-selected antiques, The location is in the downtown area of Silverton, next door and across the street from shops, restaurants, etc. It's about two blocks from the drop-off location of the Durango-Silverton narrow gauge railroad line. Our only dislike was the 25 steps up stairs to get to the rooms.
