"Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast has usual continental fair plus eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes. Very filling. Staff was very attentive to a couple of special needs. Great location in downtown main street. Would stay again if in area."

"I booked this hotel because of the rave reviews and because we normally enjoy Holiday Inn Express hotels. Unfortunately, we didn't have a fabulous experience like other reviewers. We checked in late in the evening, only to discover that our room's thermostat (and therefore the AC) didn't work. The woman at the front desk was kind and wonderful in trying to help us. Unfortunately, because hadn't booked direct through IGH, she wasn't able to offer us any sort of compensation, but thankfully she was able to move us to another room, even though it wasn't as nice as our first (no balcony or river view). This room was quiet & comfortable, but definitely older with some problems - the toilet didn't flush very well, the top nut on the lamp was missing so the lamp shade was loose and jiggly etc. Overall, we did sleep well though. In the morning, the woman working the breakfast area was clearly sick and multiple times she was coughing into the air (no covering her cough). Ugh - not what we want to see with someone working around food. We chose this room based on the reviews because it was my daughter's birthday while traveling and we wanted a great experience. Unfortunately we didn't have a stellar stay (could have just been bad luck on our particular visit), however I will say the front desk staff was super nice and tried to be as helpful as they could."

"Great property, hot tub was ready and awesome. Beautiful area by the water. Plenty if amenities with a rustic cabin vibe. Easy to get to and not far from Glenwood Springs. Only downside which honestly wasn’t a big deal, just a surprise, was someone’s laundry was left in the washer and dryer. Otherwise we loved this place and would love to come back again. Host was always helpful and quick to respond too. "

"This is by far the best place to stay in when visiting the Grand Mesa. Our visit was in Parachute, Co., and although it’s 24 miles away, we prefer to drive the distance because of the better quality and accommodations in this Hotel."

"Had a lot of issues with the key cards and readers - was never sure if I was going to get into my room without help from the front desk person. No breakfast - but there was coffee. Dim CFL room lighting. But it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Nearby level 2EV charging - a short walk."
