The cottage was exactly as listed and of a very high standard inside. Located in a quiet village but close enough to everything we planned to do on our holiday, would happily stay here again.

The cottage was absolutely lovely, clean finished to a high standard, everything that you could possibly want was there, the host had baked a lovely welcome treat, would recommend to anyone
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage and garden in a quiet rural area with a helpful and friendly host. We were able to visit some interesting places from here.
Five stars for everything - spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable cottage - we really enjoyed our stay. Lovely lemon cake - I think it was home baked, plus milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Rosemary made us feel welcome.
Old mill cottage is a lovely, spacious and beautifully restored cottage with many original features.
We spent three nights there and the owner has thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. We will definitely rebook when we next come to visit Shropshire.
We like walking and there were plenty of remote footpaths and bridle paths all to ourselves. Also the property was ideally situated for visits to north Wales where there were more nice walking paths up hills, across farmland and to remote castles. We hope to come back to this friendly location.
This was our third stay in this delightful cottage. Full of character and very well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Peaceful location. Delightful garden. Always a warm welcome from Rosemary and delicious cake!! So much to see and do in Shropshire, you'll be spoilt for choice.
We found the property with relative ease and Rosemary was most obliging even digging up potatoes for us out of the garden and other produce too....it was very hot but we coped as the cottage is very well equipped would return if was in the area another time.
An absolute pleasure. A beautiful cottage setting. Well equipped, restful, and peaceful. The surrounding areas and nearby sights were wonderful.
The owner was welcoming, friendly, and very helpful.
Thank you.
Very spacious, comfortable cosy cottage with all you need for a short or longer stay. Located in beautiful garden with nice terras behind the cottage for a breakfast or diner.
Very quiet rural area, nice for walks across the countryside. MTB track closeby in Eastridge.
Powis Castle and Shrewsbury are nice and interesting places to visit nearby.
Lovely comfortable house in beautiful surroundings
The house was cozy and warm, and lovely and quiet. We had a nice relaxing stay, garden is lovely and delicious homemade cake on arrival. Host was helpful and accomodating, and check in was easy. Nice walks from the cottage. Very close to the border with Wales, went to Powis Castle which is worth a visit. The local area is a bit sparse for shops, would recommend having a car, but Shrewsbury is a lovely historic town closeby, we used the park and ride (15 mins away). Definitely would recommend this cottage if you are looking for a peaceful countryside retreat!
Perfect cottage set in a garden that is a work of art
The owner gave us excellent directions, and when we arrived, we found the cottage exactly as expected, except, if anything, that it seemed brighter inside. In the kitchen was a homemade cake to greet us, and each room downstairs had freshly picked flowers from the stunning garden. The cottage was immaculately clean and very comfortable; everything had been thought about with great care. We highly recommend this property and this owner to anyone looking to stay in this area or if you are not sure where to stay. Enjoy!
Cottage was very comfortable, immaculately clean, tastefully decorated. The hamlet was so picturesque and quiet, perfect for a relaxing retreat. Rosemary was lovely and very friendly. The homemade fruits cake on arrival was a lovely treat and very tasty. I will recommend this place very highly.
5out of 5The Cottage is a lovely place for a quiet peaceful relaxing retreat. Well equipped nice country area. We enjoyed our stay at the Cottage and will consider a return visit
What a really lovely property. Peaceful, quiet, and everything we could have wished for. The lovely cake Rosemary provided was perfect for afternoon tea every da.
Everything about the cottage was perfect. The Mill House has been restored very sensitively, and the work has been realized by highly skilled artisans - and the results, evident throughout the property, can only be admired. All of the facilities are excellent. The furnishings are beautiful, practical and tasteful. The location is convenient for everything - walking, shopping, restaurants. Our stay exceeded all expectations in every regard. Thank you Rosemary. We loved your cottage.
