Historic S. Highlands Charming Cottage by Betty Virginia Park!

Check out this charming South Highlands home (built in 1950's) in my favorite neighborhood in Shreveport! Only a block away from the beautiful Betty Virginia Park & the beautiful Fairfield Ave.

This quiet & beautifully unique neighborhood is close to the best attractions of Shreveport: Betty Virginia, Norton Art Gallery, Centenary, LSUS, Brookshire Arena, Mardi Gras Parades, amazingly underrated restaurants, & more. And the Casinos!

The space:
I love this little space in a cozy/older home in the unique South Highland District. Each block has something different, and Shreveport has a very underrated FOOD and nightlife.

I really do love this home. It has the perfect huge backyard for pets and for socializing on the patio, not to mention you're just a block over from the most beautiful park in the City, BETTY VIRGINIA PARK & take a drive down Fairfield Ave. to see some of the most beautiful homes in Shreveport! Norton Art Gallery, GREAT Restaurants, etc. are all right near by as well.

We came in for a funeral in the family. The place was nice and fit all our family. We had a nice stay and enjoyed the time we were there. The area was nice and centrally located. We would stay here again when we come into town to visit family.

Senior trip

It was a group of senior citizens that stayed! The accommodations were awesome! The place was clean and it was easy for our disabled mother to get In-N-Out. Everything was wonderful! This place is beautiful and conveniently located.

Amazing Stay

We absolutely loved our stay! We came in town to visit family. The host was super helpful with check-in and check-out. Our favorite thing about this home was how cozy it felt. We truly felt like home. Thank you for the amazing guest experience. We will definitely book you next time we are in town.

My only complaints are the driveway being a little uneven, and the street being a dead end. The host doesn't have any control over the street though, so I can't really find a fault with that. Rooms were clean, kitchen was well done, the host was quick to respond to requests and questions about the property, and there are grocery stores and very good restaurants nearby. It's a great location for a family stay.

Family trip

Plenty of space for groups. We enjoyed tv’s in every bedroom and we enjoyed playing the board, card games provided. The only con is we could not get tv in living area to work.
