"Clean and cmfortable rooms, bathroom and showers close by. Mats were thick enough to be comfortable, while still giving an authentic Japanese experience. Not much in the immediate area, but great park and restaurants were a 15 to 30 minute walk. Desk person seemed a bit brisk, but not rude."

"This is a lovely property with the best staff! Just be aware that there aren’t a lot of dinning options. 1-2 nights best. 5 minute walk to the Izu Panorama area where you can take the ropeway to the top of the mountain to have lunch and see a view of Mt. Fuji. "

"This place is a little far from the town but on the from Fuji city you pass a lake where you can a beautiful view of mt Fuji. The hotel is excellent with activities provided. "Great place away from Tokyo/Osaka big cities, 2 stops from Shizuoka Station and they have an open air shuttle to pick you up from the station. Our family was amazed from the moment we checked in, room was spacious, clean, amenities were top of the line, decor was serenity with original Japanese beams/doors. "1日2組限定。私たちが宿泊した時は私たちだけだったのかな？とにかく夕方以降は静か。時間を忘れることが出来ました。新しいだけあって全ての設備が綺麗で快適。 一つだけ困ったのはお風呂のシャワーのお湯の設定がわからず、一瞬困ってしまいました。湯船を張るときと設定をボタンで変えなければならない？この部分は日本人の私でさえわからなかったので、一言説明を添えた方がよろしいかと。 でも、トータルでは大満足☆同じ併設のレストランも絶対行った方がいい☆"
