"I had the best time here, its so peaceful, stunning views and a very clean, spacious room. But to top it off the couple running it were the nicest people you will ever meet. They know so much about the history of the surpunding area and will give you advice for activities to do if you are ever stuck. I would highly recommend staying here and i will 100% be returning "

"Clean room and bathroom. Comfy bed. Shame there is no heating in the bathroom, as very cold when showering. Tv is a bit old.

"Rooms were very warm and a little dated.. Comfortable bed. Plenty of parking.
Breakfast was ok. Do check the time of breakfast on arrival, as we have stayed here before and breakfast time was changed , so no breakfast was eaten. Small English breakfast was offered and consisted of a sausage, a rashers of bacon, fried egg hash brown and beans. There was also bread / toast and cereal available. "

"The room was clean comfortable and cosy. The food was absolutely amazing! We had a burgers at the bar and they were delicious! The breakfast was looking gorgeous and was delicious. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The whole place is super welcoming and cozy with super location for walks in the Sherwood Forest. Highly recommend "

"Fundamentally this should be a nice apartment, despite the tiny twin room. Living area and kitchen were nice and the main bedroom and the bathroom were both spacious.
The main problem was that the toilet flush broke the first time it was used: the button that needed to be pressed got stuck and wouldn’t come back out. So the cistern wouldn’t refill and the toilet couldn’t be flushed.
I dialled the contact number and it went to answer phone. I dialled the emergency contact mobile number and that had been diverted back to the landline. I emailed but didn’t get a response until the following day. So our entire 14 hour stay was without a working toilet.
Additionally, the apartment stank of cigarette smoke, triggering my asthma.

"Probably the cleanest property ive ever stayed in and a lovely place with a lovely view (very comfy beds) nice extra touches like a welcome pack of treats and board games to play in the evenings. Would stay again! "
