"The host was very hospitable and dealt with our queries promptly. The accommodation was very comfortable with everything needed for a pleasant stay and is located in nice surroundings. The front and back gardens were secure for our two small Jack Russells. We had lovely day trips to the various beaches along the Sussex coast as well as days out at the attractions local to the area. A very relaxing week was had by the humans and the dogs - thank you."

"Angela and Ed were great hosts - very warm and helpful. The annex was lovely, very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Very close to the beautiful Knepp estate for long countryside walks, and Billingshurt for eating out and stocking up on supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed the Billi Tap for a drink and Blue India for a meal."

Hell Fyre 1594 is a unique and charming blend of character, comfort, history, storytelling and whimsy. Internally there is more than you could ask for. Comfort has been considered at every level - the bed is exceptionally comfortable and there is a sofa, armchair and lighting option for almost every whimsy. The gardens are absolutely wonderful with a plethora of areas to sit and enjoy. The host is charming and interesting and always accessible."

We ate both evening we were there and it was excellent and very good value. The flat is in the oldest part of the pub and as such the door frames are low but the ceilings are fine. There was everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Very good value for 2 couples."

"The property is lovely, like a good hotel suite. It was spotlessly clean and there were lots of clean towels. Lots of plug sockets and a good size mirror. The downside was the shower was lukewarm and we couldn't increase the temperature. Also, the communication wasn't great. There was no info about where to collect or leave the key. Nor was there any acknowledgement when we sent details of our arrival time. A coffee machine would have been nice. "
