Quaint Cottage in Bass Harbor! [Fiona`s Cottage]

"Overall this was a great dog-friendly property! Loved the totally fenced in back yard- which is important for dog owners when you already have this luxury at home. Everything was super clean and well-kept. Host was also super responsive for any questions we had. A few things to note if you are considering staying here.... This house is located on a street that gives direct access to a number of very popular tourist attractions (lighthouse & hiking trails). The street does not have sidewalks, so walking your dog here can be a bit challenging during popular travel times during the day. Also, other than poop-bags, we did not find any additional pet amenities we have found at other properties (dog bowls, dog towels). Not a big deal, but you should definitely plan ahead! Nevertheless, highly recommended!"

"A delightful property in a lovely location very convenient for Acadia and Bar Harbor andwithout the crazy price tag! Bobbie was a pleasure to deal with aaaanndd very responsive. The house is cute and comfortable, the heating works very well - even though we hardly needed it with a lucky Fall week. Lots of hot water and a very well equipped (if somewhat dated) kitchen, even though we didn't do any cooking! The restaurant at the end of the drive, Seafood Ketch, is very good and extremely reasonably priced. Excellent clam chowder and great lobster dishes and a small but very reasonably priced wine list that doesn't create sticker shock for mediocrity! The fried clam dinner was enormous and the lobster seafood casserole is worth going back for again!Altogether a great find and we all enjoyed the stay."

Also the host was excellent since day one and the cabin was super clean and cozy. Highly recommend Lighthouse cabins!! You’re gonna love it!"
