"No breakfast and the neighboring restaurant did not open until 8 which is not helpful to early hikers. Beautiful area, a bit noisy being on the bottom floor with movement above us. May just be an older building but the walls were thin in my opinion."

"Cute apartment in Seal Harbor. Bike rentals next door and close to Acadia!"
New cabin on private road, 1/2 mile to Seawall Beach and 3 miles to town center.

"Stone throw was a perfect place for my husband and I to stay for the 4 days while we were in Maine. The place was exceptionally clean, quiet and had all the kitchen things you would need. Everything we did we were only 20/30 minutes from. I would definitely recommend this place for couples (2 people)as it is not very big. We had deer visit every morning and they seemed very used to humans so we could sit on the porch and they did not run away."

"Excellent location on the quiet side of the island. Host had many suggestions for the area that made our stay simple to plan. Stairs to bedrooms are very steep, may be difficult for those with mobility restrictions to manage. Overall a great place to stay."
Quiet location. Home is 1/2 a mile to Seawall Beach and 3 miles to town center.

"We had a lovely week and loved the quiet location of Southwest Harbor. This was a great spot for hiking and being near Acadia while also popping into Bar Harbor. We appreciated the room A/C units as we arrived during a heat wave. Our family of 5 would stay again!"

"Great place! It is in a much smaller town but not too far from Bar Harbor. Perfect for a couple or small family if you want to stay away from the noise that Bar Harbor is known for. The restaurants close earlier than in Bar Harbor. It was perfect for us!"

"The property was just as listed. Pictures matched the listing. Kitchen had some cooking utensils and pans. Bedroom with queen bed was average. It did have little space to walk on each side of the bed. The bedroom with the bunkbed was a tight squeeze due to the washer/dryer in there. This bedroom would really only be suitable for children. Bathroom was presentable. Property was clean. Location was convenient."
