Top Shiogo Suspension Bridge Hotel Reviews
Toyoko Inn Shizuoka Station
8/10 Good
"Clean and big enought table even a single room. It seems very close to the station but the route to the hotel isn't very easy to walk over especially if you have big luggages. Walk at night is also kinda sketchy. Ofc bumpy road and lack of lighting on the street are the city issue, but the location isn't the best I would say."
Hotel Associa Shizuoka
8/10 Good
"Very comfortable room, room size was acceptable, the bathroom was quite small."
HATAGO INN Shizuoka Yoshida IC

KOKO HOTEL Shizuoka

Apa Hotel Shizuoka Ekikita
10/10 Excellent
"Good sized room, cheap, everything you need and great tv. In a great location 7 min walk from the station. near coffee shops, food places and shopping staff were friendly and helpful"
Toyoko Inn Shizuoka-eki Kita-guchi
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. It was very good value for the price."
Dormy Inn Express Kakegawa Natural Hot Spring
8/10 Good
"This was my 2nd time stay at this hotel. They changed the system to check-in/out to kiosk. But some staff helped me to resolve my issue. I like there’s natural hot springs and breakfast buffet with some local foods. It’s about 10 minutes walk from the station and the castle. It’s not luxurious hotel but convenient."
Shizuoka Town Hotel
8/10 Good
"I recently stayed at Shizuoka Town Hotel for about a week in July-August 2026. Though I was satisfied with my stay, there were some minor drawbacks that affected my experience. The reception and housekeeping staff team were generally professional and welcoming, and kept my room, the lobby, and the breakfast area in a clean, uncluttered state. The signage and instructions on check-in/check-out and amenities were also easy to understand. The provided daily breakfast is basic, but works well for the price. The location has ready access to JR Shizuoka and Shin-Shizuoka station via a nearby underground walkway, which I appreciated. It is also close to the historic Sumpu Castle, which is an important local landmark for sightseeing. However, the nightlife-heavy neighbourhood is a downside for me, which I should have looked up on Street View before deciding to book. For those like me who are not interested in nightlife, there are other comparable hotels closer to JR Shizuoka or Shin-Shinzuoka station that may be a better fit. Overally, this is a decent hotel for the price. I would recommend it for a budget solo traveller considering a stay in central Shizuoka with easy access to JR and local rail transport."
Sumatakyo Onsen Suikoen
10/10 Excellent
"What a treat it was to stay here. An adventure to get there and magnificently located. Food was plentiful and Japanese style a one would expect."
