place to stay. There are hiking routes around the area. Recommend taking a stroll in the nearby mountain town. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. Udon by the river, foot spas, all were amazing! Ask a local for directions on the Udon by the river. Quite the amazing experience."

"The hotel was recently renovated but unfortunately there was an unpleasant odor throughout the facility… robot waiters are not necessary… money might be better spent freshening the rooms so that they don’t smell bad. "

there was a blue sheet up to cover a broken balcony floor and fence. The fence was broken, and there was a rope up to stop people going near the fence. 3 just outside...

"A fantastic ryokan experience. We had a delux room with private bathroom. Slept on mats on the floor which was surprisingly comfortable. The onsen offered 2 small hot baths covered and open to outdoors. Breakfast was amazing, offering Japanese and American style cuisine. Had difficult time finding restaurants for dinner, not many choices and they fill up early. Walkable to most sights. "

"The area around the property was really beautiful. Several things to do, we went to the monkey show which was interesting and to Edo Wonderland, which was very cool. However, this hotel is very old and needs to be updated. The outdoor bath was nice."
