"Property is visibly older but very well maintained, clean and equipped with all the modern day conveniences (fridge, microwave, coffee station, wifi). Its just off one of the surface streets so once or twice we could hear traffic but not in any way disruptive. Right off the freeway, perfect. Pricing was perfect for us. If you're looking for reasonably priced, convenient location with basic essentials this is a good spot. But if you're looking for bargain basement pricing with Ritz Carlton...
"The singular towel that was available in my room was dirty, I had no telephone, no cable, and no remote control for the TV. As well as it was a very undesirable environment."

"This place feels, very much, like some family's cabin renovated to be a B&B--though I never had much personal interaction with the staff other than when they delivered the included breakfast each morning. Everything was pretty much handled by phone/email/text and check in was basically nonexistent: go to your room & you're registered.
The property was nice, but it looks like it could benefit from a lot of attention to the landscaping. That said, I enjoyed a little time in the two garden spaces and will admit to finding joy in walking around the property and finding tidbits of sculpture. The main rooms (apparently a family room and dining room at one time), were tastefully furnished in a kitchy/asian-inspired style.
Our room, Goldfinch, was just about right for two people with a suitcase each. I imagine it would be a bit small if skis or winter gear were involved. My main purpose in choosing the place was that it was a good hub for all sorts of adventures--from Shasta dam, to the Sacramento River headwaters, to three or four waterfalls, it worked well.
Overall? Would wholly recommend if there's not a lot of luggage/equipment involved in your trip. "
"The bed was really comfortable. I didn’t hear any noise from outside. I booked 2 rooms different times and they assigned us connecting rooms without me requesting for it. That’s very thoughtful of them. "
