🚗 Getting Here This is a true mountain cabin experience. The driveway and road include an incline, like most Smoky Mountain rentals. We personally drive a low-clearance Hyundai 2WD year-round with no issues. That said, we recommend 4WD/AWD in winter months or if you prefer extra confidence on mountain roads. If you’d rather avoid mountain drives altogether, a hotel in town may be a better fit.
⚠️ Notes for Guests
Hot Tub: Maintained regularly, but like any mechanical feature, breakdowns may happen. Refunds/negative reviews cannot be based solely on this.
Trash: Please bag all trash securely before putting it in the outdoor can — this helps prevent wildlife from scattering it.
Fireplace: Please do not adjust lower controls; it’s set for safe operation.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail. This home had all we would need for a wonderful few days in the mountains. Location is about 15-20 mins to everything, hiking, fishing, shopping and food. Owner was responsive and we would definitely come back if in the area again.
The cabin was very quaint with gorgeous views. Fire pit with wood, hot tub, gas fireplace did not disappoint —Roads were a bit scary but we slowly got used to them! You will not be disappointed.
We had a great time and really enjoyed the cabin, it was nice and plenty of room.It rained the enter stay which was a bummer, we stayed in and played games and talked. The
It has been 25 years since we’ve been to the Smokies. We decided to take a family vacation during Thanksgiving week. We needed to bring our dogs so we looked for a pet friendly cabin and also looked for a cabin that had great scenery. Everything was perfect, from the climb up the mountain to get to the cabin, the hot tub, and porch area to sit and enjoy the view. Although we didn’t get to spend much time there, the cabin was just what we wanted.
2nd time staying at this property. Great location. Great cabin. Exactly what we needed!
Excellent other than being accused of smoking in the cabin. Smoked on front and back porch. If that stunk up the cabin, my apologies.

The home is lovely the drive to get there is terrifying
The actual cabin is wonderful and very nice. The issue I had was to drive up to the cabin, its a one lane road and when there is oncoming cars its very dangerous. There were multiple instances where I encountered other cars and it made for a scary drive. The hill in the driveway up to the cabin is also trecherous and i really thought my rav4 was going to give out trying to get up it.
I see in the listing that the host mentions the driving situation but let me tell you its much more intense in real time.
My 70+ year old mom was with me and she had heart palpitations all night after that drive which caused us to leave early.
We saw a bear on our very first night there which was amazing but also terrifying at the same time! This was a great place to have a week get away to. Very peaceful and relaxing especially with the hottub. We were sad to go home but hope to come back and visit again one day! Thank you for everything 😁
The cabin was perfect! We came down for my daughters wedding. This place was super clean! The Mountain View was amazing! The front and back decks were perfect to sit and enjoy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to have a fire but the fire pit area was wonderful! The hot tub could have been better but we still went in and enjoyed it. We did see a bear our first night which was pretty cool! If we ever get back to Gatlinburg we will try to stay there again. Great place!!!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. With icy roads, we were not able to get to the cabin the first night but Michael and his wife were VERY good to work with! He stayed in contact and was very helpful when we got there! Wish we had longer to just hang out at the cabin! We will definitely seek this cabin out for our next trip! Thank you!!
Great place to stay with plenty of entertainment close by.
This cabin fit our family of six very comfortably. The cabin was very clean. It had everything we needed to make meals for our family. The surrounding neighborhood was very nice. Close to lots of entertainment. We loved it and would definitely rent here again.
