BEAR-A-BOUT

We purchased this home because of the location, minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood. Since we are not spring chickens anymore we wanted a home that had level parking and both master suites are on the main floor with no steps to climb. The downstairs is the game room with pool table . There is also a full bath downstairs. It's so comfy and cozy we fell in love at first sight. I hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do. The Smoky Mountains are breathtaking and there is just so much to do, whether it be hiking, skiing, bear watching, shopping, restaurants, the list is endless. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, a mixer, a blender, a Magic Bullet, a toaster, a sandwich maker, roasting pan, a steamer and more. Both master suites have queen size beds with TV in the living room and all bedrooms. All rooms have plenty of lighting, got a great hot tub, enjoy checkers in the living room and sunbathe on the large 12x16 deck. Smoking is permitted on the outside decks only please and ash trays are provided.

Update February 2018 - New showers, new carpet, new door, new pool table, new roof, we're always updating!

The cabin was clean and very nice. It's in the mountains close to but away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg just minutes away from both. The location of the cabin is very peaceful and quiet. Really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were clean, the bedding was fresh. The towels and wash cloths had a terrible odor to them. Almost like animal urine or mildew. The couch had a unpleasant odor of animal urine as well. But as far as the as the rest of the cabin itself, it was clean.

Great location. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Owner very communicative. Clean. We used all 3 rooms and were able to put a twin blow up by the pool table for my teen.

Cute cabin and great location!

We enjoyed our stay at Bear-A-About. The room in the lower level was perfect for our girls (11 and 13). They loved having their own space. The cabin was clean and had enough toilet paper and bath towels (we brought our own hot tub towels). The cabin had 3 showers, but no bathtubs. Which was fine for us, as we only take showers. We would definitely stay here again. It was perfectly located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Great cabin in the mountains

It was a perfect little 3 bedroom cabin and did not break the bank. Had all the amenities you could need. Not far from Gatlinburg, pigeon fordge, or the national park. And after a long day exploring, the hot tub was the perfect place to relax. We had a great time.

Family Fun

I must say we were pleasantly surprised at the ease getting to Bear-A-Bout. What a great location in-between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. Everything you needed was in the cabin, which we happened to be in more the planned as the weather did not want to cooperate. We found the beds were comfy, showers had great pressure, kitchen was well equipped. We had one little hiccup that we had to contact Karen about and she responded almost immediately and handled the situation. She was so nice and happy to help.I would definitely recommend it to anyone want a reasonably priced place to stay for vacation. Karen, Thank you, Dave & Family
