Awesome weekend

Wonderful getaway

This cabin was perfect for our ladies group coming in to the area for a Conference. Plenty of room to visit, relax, eat, sleep, and a bathroom for each bedroom was exceptional. We all enjoyed our stay and will hopefully get to come again.

Family vacation

Our entire family of 18 stayed the week. The cabin was very roomy and the older kids enjoyed the games at the house. Our younger kiddos enjoyed playing on the porch and side yard. We also enjoyed a evening at the fire pit making s’mores the hot tub was also nice.

Amazing Stay

The property was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully functional and had everything needed. The property manager was very nice and friendly anything we needed they were there to help. Cabin looked just like the pictures online and this was a great stay.

Perfect for large groups!

We had a great stay in this property. Plenty of room for the entire family with a bathroom in each bedroom! Had a minor hiccup with a sheet but the response and fix were quick. Thanks for a great experience!

Fall trip

This place was just perfect for our immediate and extended family. The place offered a lot of space to spread out. It was easily accessible for my elderly father with no stairs to enter the cabin which was so helpful. It had everything that we needed for our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this crib again.

Great owners

This cabin was just beautiful inside and out. We were close to everything there was to do in Pigeon Forge. The owner took care of the issue with the a/c unit immediately. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again at The Hummingbird Cabin. The owners were excellent!

Awesome family and Friends extended weekend

The cabin is even more beautiful. in person. It was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable and the guys loved the pool/ping pong table. We just enjoyed sitting around and playing board games and card games. We cooked breakfast lunch and dinner together and had a wonderful extended weekend. Would stay again and would recommend this beautiful property to anyone who needs a large cabin!

Great place for family

Location was good. Short drive to area attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Outdoor firepit was a great hangout spot. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. The space allowed everyone to “escape” if needed. Christmas decorations were a nice touch as well. Will definitely come back if in the area again. We had 5 adults 2 teenagers and two under 12. We all enjoyed it

"Unforgettable Family Gathering at The Hummingbird Cabin – Memories for a Lifetime"

Our stay at *The Hummingbird* cabin in the Smokies was nothing short of perfect for our family gathering! With six bedrooms and six baths, it comfortably accommodated our group of 18 for a wedding celebration. Being under one roof allowed us to create cherished memories together, from cooking breakfast every morning to gathering around the firepit at night for stories and laughter. The kids had a blast playing pool, ping pong, and air hockey, while the cabin’s setup made it enjoyable for everyone, from our 2-year-old granddaughter to our 98-year-old mother. The space felt like home, and the breathtaking mountain views made our stay even more special. *The Hummingbird* provided us with the memories of a lifetime, and we can't wait to return!

This property is very good for getting together with family & friends. All the necessary items were available in the kitchen. TV is there in all the rooms and living areas of all the floors. Kids' play area is also good. Enough space for car parking(6 cars can be parked easily). Wonderful host (Susan Briggs), We received clear communication from her on the day of arrival. Whenever I raised some query, got a reply quickly. She shared all the details like the nearest shops, check-in, and checkout formalities. Overall the stay was good our kids, friends, and families enjoyed it. We will come back for the next fall break.

2023 Thanksgiving Week in the Smoky Mountains

We have been to the Smoky Mountains for the last 10 years as a family on Thanksgiving Day. We had 19 family members from 1 to 80 yrs. of age and all of us had a Great Time. We started with the petting zoo right by the Cabin and everyone had a lot of fun with the animals. Each day we ventured out to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and also the sites in Sevierville, especially the Smoky Mountain Knife Works All 3 towns were very close. Our cabin was really nice and clean with a lot of room for everyone. The cabin owner, Larry Briggs actually sent us emails to check on us to see if we needed anything. Our whole family truly enjoyed every day of our Thanksgiving trip. Thanks for the Memories.

Amazing time, beautiful wedding.

We booked a vacation here to be able to explore Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! A few months before our daughter and fiance’ decided to ‘elope’ and the planning began. They got married at the Chapel in the wood in Gaitlinburg and it was absolutely stunning!! We came back to the house for a reception/bbq for the happy couple and the families, turned out beautifully. We had our 5 adult children and their spouses, plus 2 grandbabies stay with us and there was more than enough room!! Every room had a king size bed and bathroom. Each floor had a centralized gathering area plus a game room on the 3rd floor. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay! Host was extremely helpful with wedding suggestions and any questions we had! Centrally located to everything we wanted to see and do!! If you have kids, visit the deer farm right around the corner!

Our Spring break family Vacation

Positives: This cabin is beautiful, Spacious, the pictures doesn't do it justice. The cabin is as described. 6 nice rooms over 3 floors. Fully functioning kitchen. Any dish, pot, pan and/or utensil you could possibly need and then some. I cook alot lol! Love the game room area with pool table. The beds are extremely soft and comfortable. Many of my family members stated it was some of the best sleep they had. Fire pit and seating out was wonderful. Location of the cabin was perfect. Within miles of walmart, grocery stores, shopping and all the popular eateries. Bout 20 minutes from the island. So much we loved about this cabin. Negatives: First i will like the stay the owners are great with communication. Before we arrived we was informed that the washing machine was not in working order, due to the previous tenants. You can tell the cleaning was rushed again due to the previous tenants late check out. The cleaning crew was still there a couple of hours past my check in time. Left and came back to finish the hot tub. Bless their hearts they was exhausted. Yes they missed some things like cleaning the showers (found hair) and cleaning out the smoke buckets (not gonna mention what was found in there just know the previous tenants really enjoyed there stay). One of the toilet seats was broken. Broken blinds. Broken pool sticks (family brought their own so we managed). Towel sets were not 2 per bathroom.

Spacious, quiet, good location...

Amazingly spacious property, fully equipped, great location. Loved that we were able to see a mama bear with her little cub, some raccoons, and what we believe to be a baby bobcat. A few areas for improvement (considering these are described as amazing things that come with the house, but are not of good use), air hockey table doesn't work. There's no air to it, so the puck doesn't slide to keep the game going. A previous review already mentioned this, but there are legs missing on two of the Foosball men, so it's hard to play with this one too. The shower heads are very outdated, so when you shower it definitely feels like you're under a sprinkler. May not be a big deal to some, but it was for our entire party, stove is electric. I will say, the beds were amazingly comfortable!! Laundry is not coin operated as described by the owner, which was a plus. Bring garbage bags and rolls of paper towels as only one garbage bag and only one roll of paper towels was available which was already in use from previous renters. The walls are thin. I was able to hear noise from those occupying the rooms above and below me, and you could hear muffled conversations through the vents coming from the room next to us on the same floor. Cleaning crew does need to do a better job, they don't sweep under the sofas. Too many cups and plates, so no cabinet space for your food. Grill on-site was a huge plus. Communication with the owners was amazingly great. The house was great overall and beautiful.
