"We stayed as part of a large group for a nearby family wedding. Staff were friendly. Hotel is a beautiful very old building. Breakfast was lovely. Spa was really good. Bonus was the parking and swim spa are free to guests. Room was clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. My only complaint is that we were the only ones from our 12 rooms booked by family and friends that had an attic room that was very hot and a blacked out small window with only a view of the hotel workings below. That has put me off returning. Even though, if you can get a better room I would still recommend this hotel. Great price and location."

"Lovely older style pub hotel close to retaurants and bars. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Bathroom spotless and newly refurbished. Access to parking across the road was easy and perfectly acceptable."
