Property was great for a first time visit to Seoul! Staff was very helpful, facilities and amenities were just as advertised, and felt very safe and comfortable. Would stay here again.

The staffs were very friendly and enthusiastic, and they always check-in with us about our stay. The laundry service was really nice as they wash and fold your clothes for you. They also reply to messages really fast and the checkin and checkout process is really conveniently for those who arrives and leave ouside the office hours. Overall, it is a very good place to stay for such price. The room and bathroom is kinda small and you have to be careful about the water leaking out to the room when showering. The walls are kinda thin for those who are sensitive to sound However, the place is normally pretty quiet and chill. In front of the building is kinda dirty with all the trash, but it is a convenient spot to walk to places.

The staff were very nice and helpful, they let us leave our luggage before check in as we had arrived early. The room itself is quite basic but has everything you could need, it is quite small but it does the job! I definitely recommend coming here as the location is perfect you gave many shops around and you are right next to myeongdong street.

Very nice hostel

This was one of the better hostels I have stayed in. It was a tiny room, but very clean. Also the hostel has quiet hours, which is a big plus. The location was good and close to transportation. The only big negative was there was no where in the room to put your luggage. It could have gone under the bed, but there wasn't a bin.

Lovely time. Excellent staff, very friendly, and SUPERB location. We stayed in March and the room was a bit chillybat night, even with the provided space heater, so we needed extra blankets. The mattresses were VERY thin and felt as though you were sleeping on the floor. Quite uncomfortable and could not sleep well due to the pain and inability to get comfy. They also lack usb charging ports, so make sure you bring an actual charging brick, or you'll need to borrow one from the front desk or buy a charger from one of the convenience stores.

The staff were very friendly! We got small gifts when we arrived and left the place. Though the room was small and we don't have toothbrushes/toothpaste (we were aware since the hostel mentioned in their amenities), we enjoyed our time spent at OYO! The location was really close to the train station, Myeongdong night market which made it convenient for our plans. Will come here to stay again when I visit Seoul again.

This was my third stay there. It's not 'posh' like a regular hotel, but it's clean, the amenities are nice, the lobby area where breakfast is (toast, coffee, cereal) is clean and nice, and the staff are friendly. Complimentary umbrellas to borrow. Mini fridge in the room. I had booked a stay at K-Pop Residence a block away, and that went HORRIBLY, so I booked my tried and true Meyongdong OYO 3. It's so close to all the shopping. Please note that there are about 6 steps you have to go up before getting to the elevator. The outside looks 'sketchy' but it's really not at all sketchy. Also, if you're staying multiple days, they will do your laundry for about $10 US dollars per basket. The hotel is just about a 4-5 minute walk from Meyongdong station (metro) and a GREAT restaurant nearby is Meyongdong Kyoja. Cathedral is around the corner, about a 5-8 minute walk. I want to be honest; my mom would not really like it here, as she's into "Marriot" and "Hilton" lifestyle. But I'm an easy person to please and all I want is convenient, clean, and trustworthy. Twice I went with my daughter, once alone. Bunkbeds were fine with us. Once we got a queenbed. There's a 'family room' I stayed in once with two sets of bunk beds (it was the only one left). I would definitely return.

RIGHT there in Myeong dong area; couldn't have asked for a closer place. The outside of the building looks rough; but the inside on the 4th floor is very nicely done and the rooms are clean. No problems at all; very friendly staff. The breakfast is just cereal and toast, but that was fine for us. One downfall; you can hear others in the morning during breakfast, so sleeping in is hard to do. They will do laundry for you for 10,000 won per basket; good deal.

The place is perfect for a quick stay that may be 3-5 days. I didn’t really like that there weren’t much ventilation causing moisture to be trapped on the ceiling. Keeping windows open was worrisome as there tends to be mosquitoes. The staff was very wonderful and kind. Any questions were answered very respectfully and quick. I like the fact that the place was kind of hidden from all of the traffic of humans but at the same time kind of in the heart of the area. When you exit the building, anywhere you go there are many options to explore. I also want to give the cleaning crew a shout out as they were friendly and kind as well!

As other reviewers have mentioned, the walls are incredibly thin. Depending on the group(s) of guests that go during your stay, this could become a problem. During my stay I had guests doing redeye flights and would make a lot of noise between 3-5am. The walls are thing to the point that you can hear Facetime calls and Youtube videos being played from cell phones. The way the common area is designed seems to create an accoustic/echo effect that amplifies the noise.
