Putu villas are right in the Main Street of Seminyak but you wouldn’t know it! They have a beautiful tranquil garden, old school Bali charm, and free access to the gym at the front of the complex. Felt super relaxing to be there. The property is older so it’s not all that flash, but I think the price is fair for what you get.

My friend and i stayed here for a much needed girls trip away. We could not fault our stay. The staff were beautiful and friendly, helped us woth any of our needs. Everything is walking distance, amazing restaurants and cafes close by. The pool is stunning. Despite being close to the main road, we found the property really quiet and relaxing. The rooms are a little dated & could potentially use some work, but we thought it added to the charm of the place. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Everyone was always happy and welcoming. House keeping never disappointed. Privacy was good. Safe environment, would even stay with my kids. Downfall was the bed not really being to comfortable, mattress is due for an update. And the pool bar was never opened, however it was not peek season when we stayed. But i think the hotel add should specify if it is closed during periods of time. Overall cant complain and would stay here again. Felt safe and it was in a terrific location. Staff made our time lovely.

Great location in Seminyak - close to cafes, restaurants, shops etc. Hotel is quite old and needs a bit of a refresh (pool area, rooms). Bathroom / shower needed a good deep clean. Rooms not noise protected, could hear everything from property next door throughout the night. Gardens nice.

Property advertised having spa & massage facilities on site. We booked based on this as travelling with my elderly mother. The spa facilities had been closed since COVID 5 years ago!! The Putu is quite run down, but I want to emphasise that the staff were beautiful, extremely helpful and very accommodating. The photos are not true to the villas, we were very shocked upon arrival, the photos online do not truely depict them correctly. Like I said, the staff made it better as they tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Great traditional feel to the villas. We loved the outdoor shower and the feeling of having a shower while it’s raining really nice. The room is a good size and the air conditioning worked very well. The only thing really wrong with the room would be that’s it’s very dark. Fantastic service. The staff were very helpful and on afternoon during a storm our room stared to leak from the roof and when we let them know, they immediately got a ladder and fixed the problem. It was pouring rain and lightning but they still got up on the roof and had a look. The restaurant had delicious food and drinks.

The villas are quite off the street which is nice. The AC worked well, and the grounds are filled frangipanis which gives the place an authentic feel. The rooms were a little outdated, and could do with a bit of maintenance. We didn’t love the outdoor shower area, but is fine if you’re not afraid of bugs etc.
