"Gorgeous apartment, plenty of room. The balcony was an added bonus for viewing the beautiful Tuscan sunsets. The restaurant onsite was delightful and the staff was very helpful and kind. The grounds of the winery are just beautiful. This was a wonderful place to base ourselves for day trips around southern Tuscany. We’d stay here again. "

However, the construction of this building reflected attention to detail for function as well as beauty. "We were a 3 generation family group of 14, 8 adults, 5 children and 1 baby., and stayed at Hortulanus for 2 weeks. We have rented villas more than a dozen times from Turkey to Spain and several countries in between. Hortulanus is by far the best. The pool is extraordinary and the most family and kid friendly pool you could imagine, the main villa and 2 cottages are perfect for large gatherings of friends and family, the setting is absolutely beautiful. "We had a wonderful stay at Noce cottage - it was spotless and had all the amenities we needed for our family of four. The terrace was lovely with the most spectacular views. The pool was pristine. We visited nearby towns and sampled local wine plus visited Saturnia hot springs - a worthy day trip. Only 10 min to grocery store and hospital but a world away - like being back in time. The owner was communicative and offered great suggestions. This place is very special. We would highly recommend...
