"On April 24 I attempted to cancel this reservation for May 1 - 3, realizing I was a few hours after the "deadline." I tried to cancel with the hotel but they said I would have to cancel with you. On that day I texted/messaged you on this site and never received a response. I now see I was charged $508.52 on my credit card, presumably for two nights. I want recourse, and mostly first A RESPONSE from you. What are the components of that charge of $508.52. I have used Expedia for many trips and hotel stays for years. I will use you again if I get some satisfaction in response to this message!!!"

"The room was set up awful. To watch tv in bed you had to turn your head sideways making for a long lasting neck pain. No ice in two nearby ice machines. Restaurant morning pastry basket has only one type of pastry. 2 coffees and cinnamon roll=$19!"

"I absolutely loved this place! We arrived super early, and they were able to check us in ahead of schedule. The hotel and restaurant staff were extremely friendly. It was conveniently located right next to a golf course and pickleball courts, which we really enjoyed. The pool and spa area were clean and well-maintained. My only complaint is that they only offer fresh-baked cookies at check-in, and since we stayed for four days, I found myself craving them each day, haha! Unfortunately, they weren't available on the menu to order. "

"Room was clean, tv actually had many channels. Breakfast is hot and delicious. Lots of parking. Checkout time is 12 which was super great! Overall would stay again. The only issue is the deposit was more than I was expecting so I had to move money around. I get the deposit back at the end of the stay it just is a cost I wish was listed. Not just here but on all hotels so I could plan ahead."

"When I arrived the front desk staff refused to swipe my credit card when the chip wouldn't pick up, she said she wasn't allowed because people had desputed their charges, not sure how that's relevant to how you run it. There were no towels in the room at all and the room smelled like old food"

"Pros - Beautiful decor/architecture. Convenient walking distance to shops, restaurants and transportation in the historic downtown Railroad district. Very helpful staff. Restaurant/bar conveniently located on site. Free WiFi. Available parking. Cons - Large homeless population in vicinity. Restaurant not affiliated with hotel so no room service availability and closes early. Slow/weak Wifi. Parking is offsite about half a block away and not totally secure. Depending on how you book your reservation, you may have to pay an additional $15.00 per night for parking or you can chance finding a spot on the street for free. Somewhat busy intersection so be prepared for street traffic noise which subsides later in the evening. Overall, Cons aside, we had a nice stay."
