Horrible Property Management
We booked the place for 4 nights. The owners should consider using a local person to manage their property because we will not be coming back and will not be renting another house using this property management company.
Pros:
The location was great and the house was nice. The kitchen was fully stocked.
Cons:
We got there 2 hours early and were told to wait in Gualala for the packet. We did drive to the rental and noticed nobody was there but the management company said the house wasn’t ready. We then were told after 4pm that the packet was in the house. So now we were already not happy and we get in the house and it’s hot, you can tell nobody has been in there for days and we could have checked in a little early. The floors were a bit dusty, there was a clump of soap or something in the sink.
The house is bare bones-hardly anything on the walls, no throw blankets for the couch on a rainy day,and everything was so minimal.
The beds were old and springy and you only get one pillow per person and one towel. The bedding was too basic and hardly big enough for 2 people. Bring your own toilet paper and everything else-it falls off when you try to use it. The bathroom amenities were that of a motel 6. Don’t use the shower gel or shampoo-smelled like dollar store to me. You only get a cheap tiny thing of dish soap that barely works and one extra garbage bag.
