"The Atlanta Marriott Marquis reminds me of Tomorrowland: a dated version of what seemed futuristic decades ago. The property is amazing to look at, but the rooms themselves feel dated: weird banquettes and tables (vs. a desk) and a relative dearth of electrical and charging outlets made me wish for thoughtful updating. The restaurant (Sear) and bar were lovely. My mind was blown by the $70/night for valet parking (there is no self-park option), so I ended up finding something through Spot Hero just a tenth of a mile away for a teeny fraction of this price. "

"There was a line of at least 5 deep with one staff member helping at check in , the other staff member took about 20 mins to step in and help. The room smelt like mold, the ceiling was cracked in the bedroom and bathroom which matched the peeling paint. The private parking lot entrance arm was torn down over night,so anyone could access it. The staff member that checked me out the next morning barely looked at me, took my room key didn’t ask my name how my stay was or anything, almost annoyed I asked to check out. The smell of mold was very strong, the ac unit worked great in the bedroom but it was warm in the kitchen and sofa couch area."

"We arrived late. Staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. It was a bit noisy in the hallway, but we couldn’t hear any of the noise in the room. The bed was comfy with a solid shower. Great value in a nice location. Valet is expensive but that’s standard for this area. "

"First of all, the hotel was full and 1 out of 4 elevators worked, so it was really inconvenient. Two, you had to pay for parking ACROSS THE STREET, each day. Lastly, I’ve gone to hotels that at least leave waters, there was no water, no microwave, no mini fridge, the only water available was in the store down stairs for 4 dollars per bottle."
