"The Ibis Style Gelsenkirchen is an excellent choice for convenience, located just a 5-minute walk from Gelsenkirchen main station. The room was quite large, clean, and comfortable, complete with a working desk and wardrobe. Be aware, however, that there is no mini-fridge or tea/coffee facilities. "Wonderful hotel. Beautiful surroundings next to an old town. Restaurant with quite simple but good food while most wines (not all) were really expensive. Quite a discrepancy between currywurst and a bottle of wine for 211€😂. The pommes special with curry sauce, red onions and mayo was absolutely delicious. Nice room but a lot of stairs. Good breakfast but not spectacular. "
