"This was a wonderful property and location. It was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated with plants. We did not want to be right in Coimbra so we picked a nearby location. It was only about a 25 minute drive into town, where we spent the day visiting the university, shopping and enjoying dinner. There was a grocery store nearby where we picked up breakfast supplies. We especially appreciated the onsite parking."

The hotel has a lovely outdoor garden setting restaurant, perfect for a glass of wine and a bite to eat after a day of sightseeing. And the location could not be better - a block away from the University Square. And the staff was very friendly and most helpful."

"Interesting hotel on the high edge of the old town. Very nice and reasonable rates. The rooms overlook the new city from high on the hill. In the old city. Our room was exceptionally nice. Beautiful view, hot tub and a great cross breeze. I our room was a four story walk up, but most are less. Park anywhere available and walk until you find the office as you cannot park anywhere close, so don’t bring a lot of luggage. Breakfast was served in our room and very nice."
