"Nice bungalow with good outdoor spaces, but with a few issues - some strange lighting arrangements where you have to plug a cable in to turn on a light, and the bedrooms are tiny, with a very noisy/squeaky bunk bed in one of them Decent shower, and kitchen seems well equipped. We were not told that soap and toiletries are not provided, but the host was very communicative and helpful, and dropped some off for us anyway."

"Heating system not working while being at -3 degree and the house isolation system is not efficient for winter, from the doors and windows you can feel the cold wind coming in. PLUS we had a plague of mosquitoes so we had terrible nights, mosquitoes in all the house.. We had to pay extra for towels and bed sheets.. "This is a lovely hotel located very close to the train station, but also right in the center of an area where you can go to restaurants, shops, and a little way down from the river. They were willing to take our luggage before we checked in so we didn’t have to drag it with us. Also, the last day, we left it with them in the afternoon until we took the train out. They were always very kind and I would stay there again in a minute!"

"Beautiful, older hotel that needs some TLC. Very friendly staff who are always there to help. The room was relatively clean but is desperate for a make over.....it's showing its age. The hotel decor is quite old fashioned with lots of dark wood and old furniture but still very comfortable. Unfortunately, it's not very good value for money. We stayed for 2 nights which were really quite expensive but it was during an Andre Reiu concert weekend so it's only to be expected. The location is ideal for train travellers, which we were, being literally 100 yards from the station. However, it's on the wrong side of the river for the beautiful old town of Maastricht and the big square where the concert is....about 25 minute slow walk. Would we return? Absolutely."
